Welcome to Flags Mastery ("the App"), developed by Volodymyr Shyrochuk ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

By using Flags Mastery, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. However, you may optionally:

• Connect to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android): If you choose to sign in, we access your gaming profile name and avatar for leaderboard features. This information is managed by Apple or Google respectively.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we automatically collect:

• Usage Data: Quiz scores, completion times, achievements unlocked, streak information, and gameplay statistics. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
• Analytics Data: Anonymous usage patterns to help us improve the app experience (see Section 4).

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Name, email address, or other personal identifiers (unless provided via Game Center/Play Games)
• Location data
• Contacts or phone information
• Photos or media files
• Financial information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide App Functionality: Track your quiz progress, achievements, and streaks
• Enable Game Services: Display your scores on leaderboards (if you opt in to Game Center/Play Games)
• Sync Progress: Allow you to sync your progress across devices via cloud save (optional)
• Improve the App: Analyze anonymous usage data to fix bugs and enhance features
• Display Advertisements: Show relevant ads (see Section 5)

4. Analytics and Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

4.1 Firebase Analytics (Google)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. This service collects anonymous usage data including:

• App opens and session duration
• Feature usage patterns
• Crash reports

4.2 Apple Game Center (iOS)

If you choose to sign in with Game Center, Apple manages your gaming profile according to their privacy policy. We only access your display name and avatar for leaderboard features.

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, Google manages your gaming profile. We access your display name for leaderboard features.

5. Advertising

Flags Mastery displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads help support the free version of the App.

5.1 Ad Personalization

AdMob may use device identifiers and anonymous data to show relevant advertisements. You can opt out of personalized advertising:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization

5.2 Premium Version

Users who purchase the premium version of the App will not see advertisements.

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Local Storage

Your quiz progress, statistics, and settings are stored locally on your device using secure local storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

6.2 Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable cloud sync via Game Center or Google Play Games:

• iOS: Data is stored in your iCloud account, managed by Apple
• Android: Data is stored via Google Play Games services

We do not operate our own servers to store your personal data.

6.3 Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Flags Mastery is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).

The App:

• Does not require account creation
• Does not collect names, emails, or addresses
• Does not include social features that allow communication between users
• Contains advertising that complies with children's privacy regulations (COPPA, GDPR-K)

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request information about data we have about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data
• Opt-out: Opt out of personalized advertising
• Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email below. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete app data by uninstalling the App.

9. International Users

Flags Mastery is available worldwide. If you access the App from outside your country of residence, please be aware that your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws.

9.1 European Users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR. Our legal basis for processing your data is:

• Legitimate Interest: To provide and improve the App
• Consent: For optional features like Game Center integration and personalized ads

9.2 California Users (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
